The female body takes a beating during pregnancy, and the sooner you can start helping it return to its pre-pregnancy condition the better.
The main focus of the program is to develop a basic level of fitness on which to build – Post Partum.
The plan will increase:
7-Day Overview:
Monday: Cardio-Vascular
Tuesday: Muscle strengthening and Core Stability
Wednesday: Cardio-Vascular
Thursday: Yoga
Friday: Muscle strengthening, Cardio and Core Stability.
Saturday: Yoga
Sunday: Recovery Day
Always train within your own limits – do not try to get back your pre-pregnancy fitness back in 1 day – it will take some time to get back to where you were, but a slower progression is safer and a better long term option.
If you are a new mom, SUBSCRIBE and stick to this program, and in 6 weeks you will be amazed how fantastic you will look and feel.
It is most important thing you need is medical clearance from your Doctor. You might be told to wait till your 6 week check up before commencing exercise.
If you exercised during your pregnancy and had a normal delivery, you can often commence light activity fairly soon after delivery.
The level of intensity is at a low to moderate level, and the exercises are also at a low to moderate level, so the progression is not unrealistic.
This program recommends two very important tools:
* Polar Heart Rate Monitor to set and monitor your training zones,
* MyPypeline Prehab Kit for your strength training.
Daily Time Commitment:
Sessions: 60 minutes
Weekly Time Commitment:
60 minutes per day, 6 days a week of varied routines.
