Program Description

The 12 week, 30km program has laid a great foundation of fitness for you to take on the next challenege - another 12 week program, this one will have you riding 60km  in no time at all.

Here is what your training week will look like:

Session 1: Monday: Resistance Training (Strength and Core Stability)
Session 2 / Tuesday: Cardio-Vascular training: Threshold Intervals.
Session 3 / Wednesday: Active recovery - stretching session
Session 4 / Thursday: Resistance training (Strength and Core Stability)
Session 5 / Friday:  Cardio-Vascular training: Speed Intervals
Session 6 / Saturday: Active recovery - stretching session
Session 7 / Sunday: Cardio-Vascular training: Base conditioning
 
Each one of these training sessions is designed to ensure you will be able to complete a 60km ride by the end of the 3 months.
 
This training program is incredibly easy to use, with comprehensive, daily coaches notes and a Video Bundle with all the guidance and motivation you will ever need.
 
Each month consists of 3 weeks of increasing the amount of Training you do each week,  whish will ultimately make your body stronger, fitter and faster.
 
The fourth week is an Unload week, where you will notice a definite reduction in training volume, specifically to allow your body a little more opportunity to adapt to the training and a little more recovery time.

  • Yoga training

Program Prerequisites

 

Participants must have no injuries that can be made worse by increasing the intensity or the duration of physical activity (Cycling).
 
Ideally they should have good experience riding a bike, or have moved through the Ride Again, 30Km Progression.
