Starting the EGX Challenge

I've been working with many of the NFL Moms to get them up and going on the EGX NFL Moms Fitness Challenge 18 Week Program. Sooooo... I thought I should walk the talk so to speak. Starting tomorrow, I'll be following along with them.

I'll play catch up with Mark Coates 1 of 36 Beginner Fitness tomorrow morning. I've been hiking a great deal lately, so I'm hoping that I won't be huffing and puffing too much. But you never know... 5:30am is early to be sweating. 8)

Personally, I love to surf even though I'm no Kelly Slater! Some of the most beautiful breaks are right here on the British Columbia coast. And surfing is such a great workout! For me, the combination of cardio, upper body, core strength and the fresh salt air can't be beat. I love to workout as it helps me manage my stress and gives me a healthy, lively glow. I've always been athletic but never an athlete so any way I can stay in shape now that I'm older, is a blessing.
