Specializing in private instruction, Jana teaches personalized ISHTA-style yoga based on the premise that every body has a different body type, physical alignment and injuries and therefore different requirements.
A life-long athlete Jana has played competitive volleyball, basketball, baseball and ringette. She’s also studied ballet, tap, jazz and hiphop and is an avid water and downhill skier. When she began practicing yoga, she had to change her focus from competitive and team-oriented to become more grounded and connected.
A highlight of Jana’s work is seeing the journey that her clients take as they change, not only physically but mentally and spiritually as their practice evolves.
