spinning

Posted Mar 13, 2008

What is spinning? Spinning is a low impact – high aerobic activity that will burn serious calories and give you that rush you’re looking for. A great indoor workout and perfect cross training for many other sports.
Lets look at a couple key points for spinning…
Not to overload you – just a couple for today:
-Hydrate before and after. Drink a minimum of 150ml of fluid every half hour

-Make sure your fit on the bike is the most efficient. When you are comfortable you are less likely to waste energy trying to ‘get comfortable’ on your bike.

-Push with your heel and try not to use your toes

As mentioned – just a couple tips to get you started.
Please ask any questions you may have – we don’t wake up a perfect spinner!
