MyPypeline gives you access to fitness programs tailored to the needs of different fitness groups and levels. Each program has been created by a qualified personal trainer and consists of a series of workouts designed to let you achieve a particular goal or reach a specific destination. These programs are like having a personal trainer to yourself - EVERYDAY of the week, at a fraction of the cost.
MyPypeline programs include:
These programs are for people who are completely new to exercise, with the goal of making health and fitness an integral part of your daily life to improve your overall health and quality of life. You should be in good health to follow one of these programs. If you have an injury or medical condition, or are unsure of whether a program is suitable for you, you should get medical clearance before you begin.
For people who have done some exercise in the past - but not for 12 months - beginner programs are designed to get you off the couch, out there and having fun. They include goals, but the emphasis is on having fun during the journey from the start line to your destination. The main goal is to improve overall muscular and cardio fitness and improve your overall quality of life. If you have an injury or medical condition, or are unsure of whether a program is suitable for you, you should get medical clearance before you begin.
Intermediate programs are for people who have been active for at least 30 minutes a day, three times a week during the last 6-12 months. If you have progressed through the beginner programs, these programs are perfect for taking your fitness to a new level. The programs aim to give you a good fitness foundation that lets you advance to more strenuous activities and train for specific destinations, such as a marathon. Many programs target a specific goal or destination. If you have an injury or medical condition, or are unsure of whether a program is suitable for you, you should get medical clearance before you begin.
Now we're getting more serious! These programs are for people who are active on a daily basis or who have moved through the intermediate programs. They are designed to help you achieve the best possible result in your event such as a Seasons Best (SB) or Personal Best (PB) time. Advanced programs can be quite technical and targeted towards a particular sport - for example, teaching a triathlete more about transitions. If you have an injury or medical condition, or are unsure of whether a program is suitable for you, you should get medical clearance before you begin.
There's a MyPypeline program for every fitness level - from absolute beginner to advanced performers. First, think about what you're goal is and decide - do I need a fitness program or do I need a training program?
Fitness programs are available for everyone, at any fitness level ! They are based on general health and fitness goals like:
MyPypeline Fitness programs may be either tune-ups, 6-week boot camp style or 12-week programs.
Tune-up programs are a couple days or a couple weeks and include vacation and business travel programs. Here are some great examples:
6-week and 12-week programs include cardio conditioning, strength training, stretching and active recovery days. These programs offer trainer's notes every day - 7-days a week throughout the duration of the program. They combine exercises for your workout days and fitness advice for your "off days" which may include tips, online resources, nutritional advice and other useful fitness information.
MyPypeline training programs are available for beginner to advanced fitness levels. They are designed to take you through a fitness progression (from beginner to intermediate, for example). Training programs are destination focus - whether the destination is a race, a place or a time. MyPypeline training programs help you train for a specific outcome such as:

You'll read a lot about goals on MyPypeline. That's because they are crucial to any successful fitness program. Goals placed along every stage of your journey - ultimately leading to one overall goal - keep you motivated and help you progress at the correct pace in order to avoid injury and peak at just the right time.
Our mantra when it comes to goal-setting is:
Make a list of short and long-term goals at least four times a year, including two personal goals, two work-related goals, and two health goals for the next one, five and 10 years. Pin them above your desk or in another prominent place. We've given you some ideas below.
Goal-setting will give you results. Results will keep you motivated.
Periodization training moves participants through a progression within their training program according to their starting level. At the beginner levels, for example, repetitions are high and intensity is low. As you move through the progression, repetitions reduce and intensity increases.
Moving through a program progression ensure that beginners can do the basics exercises and movements really well, before advancing to the intermediate and advanced levels that incorporate more advanced exercises and movements. Additional benefits include:
Learn basic time management skills to make the most of your workouts, including, for example, making sure you have the right workout clothes, a bottle of water and a towel.
