Mount Kilimanjaro

Welcome to the Mount Kilimanjaro Group! Over the next 6 months we will be training and preparing for this once in a lifetime climb! We want to make sure we are all ready to go when January comes around (because it will arrive fast!), so this group page will alow us the means to plan training days and keep each other accountable.

All training dates and get togethers will be posted here as well as provide an easy way to communicate with each other via the wall. Check the group page regularly for updates! Happy training!

A marathon in every city

I’ve made a pledge to myself – to run a marathon in every city I have lived… two down (London & Vancouver)m, two to go (Dublin & New York).

My best time? 3:42. Looking to match that, or beat it. Looking for running partners. Happy to meet for short, mid week runs… or better yet meet at the weekends when the runs are a little longer. Let me know if you are interested.

Blaster Babes

Ok ladies!! It's time to get serious and blast away a bit of flab. Join this group if you want to kick-start your weight loss or tone-up routine. We'll be doing the Bootcamp Blaster program and it WILL BE HARD. Be I'm determined to do it and together, we'll cheer each other on! Join me. We'll start this 4 WEEK PROGRAM on Monday, August 10th. COME ON AND BE A BLASTER BABE!!!


White Rock IF NYC Marathon Group

 16 week running program for all NYC Marathon participants.

Sunday: Long Slow Distance

Tuesday: Tempo with running specific instruction

Wednesday: Hill training

Thursday: Steady Run

All runners should be running on sunday and then choose 2 of the 3 options during the week.

The first run will start Sunday July 20th at the "Running Room", South Surrey, BC.

2008 MPL Staff Sun Run Challenge

Are you ready to beat your time at the Vancouver Sun Run this year?

Welcome to the MPL Staff corporate challenge! We are gearing up for a combined time of approximately 9.5 hours (time to change when everyone gets their goals in to me!)

Baseball training

Pins and needles are one thing, but you still can't beat the smell of pine tar and rawhide. 

This group will go thru a pre season training program, to increase your speed, power and rotational core strength.


BC Bike Race Winter Season Bike Group

This group meets monday and wednesday nights for group spin workouts. You will need to bring your own bike and spinner. Please bring what you intend to fuel and hydtrate with during the race to practice.

We will be using Richard Alms spin classes all winter. The class we are doing will be posted weekly so you can make it up if you miss it! You need to be an intermediate or better level cyclist to get the most out of these sessions.


Bogey's Fantasy IronMan

Like fantasy baseball - we don't actually DO Ironman's we jsut BET on other people that do - PICK A WINNER!
